Wine Review: NV Aufkellereien, Germany, Rosé

20131021_213413 20131021_213428 I enjoyed this wine. It’s flavourful, and has a great balance of sweetness and acidity. Easily drank the entire bottle. At the time of drinking, I felt too lazy to write extensive tasting notes but strawberry, cherry, honey, and apple aromas made this wine smell delicious! Although it smells rather sweet and fruity, it’s medium dry and not over whelming. The low alcohol percentage seems to help balance the subtleties in flavour. All in all, not a bad wine. I would drink it again, but not before I’d drink Aufkellereien’s white dép wine!
